The "I am Writing a Project, How about You? TÜBİTAK 2209 University Students Research Project Writing Training" event, organized by the History Society of our University, was held with intense participation.
Within the scope of the project training of the event, our University's Project Coordination Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Dr. Ekrem Saralıoğlu provided comprehensive information on the scope of support, application process, support amount and payment conditions, who can apply and the benefits of doing projects for students. He also stated that the Center is open to all students, so they can provide additional support in writing projects.
Assoc. Dr. In his speech on project training, Mehmet Akkuş made enlightening and inspiring explanations about critical thinking, problem-solving skills, curiosity and imagination ability, cooperation skills, verbal and written communication, mental agility and flexibility, and initiative-taking skills required for project writing. . Akkuş stated that the Presidential Ottoman Archives constitute an important resource for project writing and that there are great differences between the articles in these archives, so these archives can be evaluated for various studies within the framework of pragmatics. Akkuş also emphasized that the archives should be examined by linguists and Turkish language experts and stated that various projects can be written and these studies can be implemented in this field. He mentioned that interdisciplinary joint studies can be carried out in the fields of Turkish Language, Sociology, Philosophy and History, and stated that they will provide all the support they can to all students in this sense.
Participating students shared their experiences about the project preparation processes at the event. The program was attended by Assistant Deans of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Assoc. Dr. Bayram Arif Köse and Assoc. Dr. In addition to Kerem Özbey, academicians and students showed interest.
At the end of the program, the event was concluded by presenting certificates of appreciation to the training officers.
