Within the scope of the event organized by our University History Society, Community Advisor Dr. Lecturer A trip was organized to important places reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Erzurum under the guidance of member İshak KÜÇÜKYILDIZ. This event, which was held with the participation of 40 community members at our university, aimed to provide a rich history and cultural experience for students. Community president Ahmet AKMEŞE said, "The starting point of the trip was the Erzurum Congress Building, which played a critical role in the founding process of the Republic of Turkey. This place represented an important historical point where the foundations of the Republic were laid. Afterwards, Nene Hatun, Erzurum Castle, Erzurum City Archive, Three Tombs, Double Minaret Madrasa and Erzurum Museum were visited. During the trip, students had the opportunity to gain in-depth information about historical processes and get to know the cultural richness of the region more closely. At the end of the trip, students were chatted about the history of the city and the information they acquired was discussed and evaluated. "This interactive experience was an important step towards deepening students' historical knowledge and understanding," he said.
