"Take Your Chess and Come" Event was held at Artvin Çoruh University on Thursday, 04.01.2024.
Students showed interest in the event organized by the Chess Society to increase interest in chess at the Central Campus of our University. Chess Society President Tuna Kışlacıklıoğlu and Community students said about the event: "We brought together those who are passionate about chess at our University to reach those who want to be interested in chess at our university, to provide information about the Necmettin Yılmaz Chess Tournament to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, and to give them the pleasure of playing chess in the open field. In the next period, we will have various events, especially chess competitions and talks on chess. “We would like to thank everyone who participated and supported our event.” they said. 
Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department Kaya Erdem and Community Advisor Dr. Lecturer See. The event, which Turan Aksakal also attended, ended with the participants being given their certificates.
