The 12th Sports Festival, organized by our Department at our University, started with Student Basketball competitions on Monday, May 6, 2024. The first day matches of the tournament were played at our University Seyitler Campus 15 July Indoor Sports Hall.

Lecturer from the Tournament Organizing Committee. See. Hasan Tahsin Aslan gave information to AÇÜ TV about the 12th Sports Festival. Lecturer emphasized that our university provides services in many branches of sports and has achieved significant success in the field of sports. See. Aslan stated that the Sports Festival, which has become a tradition and was held for the 12th time this year, is one of the social and sports services offered to our students and staff. Stating that nearly 1200 athletes are expected to participate in the 12th Sports Festival, which is shaped in two main categories: Student and Personnel, Aslan said that in the Sports Festival, which is presented in two themes as individual sports and team sports, volleyball, basketball, football, arm wrestling, table tennis, bowling and chess. He added that competitions were included.
